Striker Robert Lewanodwski is a major doubt to be fit for Barcelona in their upcoming Champions League semifinal tie against Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews . They report that the 36-year-old could be out for 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury.
Barcelona beat Celta Vigo 4-3 in La Liga yesterday. It was a dramatic comeback that represented a major step towards the title for the Blaugranas.
However, that result came at a cost for Barcelona.
Striker Robert Lewandowski started the match. However, at just after the half-hour mark, he went down holding his left thigh.

Lewandowski is certainly a key player for Barcelona . He has been the Catalan club’s top scorer in each of the three seasons since his arrival in the summer of 2022.
The Polish international was on target with a brace in the first leg of Barcelona’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Borussia Dortmund.
However, it is looking like Lewandowski may not be able to play a part in the semifinals.
After being forced off with injury yesterday, the initial prognosis for Lewandowski is a hamstring problem.
The former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund striker will undergo medical tests today.
But the feeling is that Lewandowski risks at least a couple weeks on the sidelines.
And the first leg of the Champions League semifinal tie against Inter is in just ten days.
That means that, at the very least, it is doubtful that Lewandowski can return in time for the first leg.
And then the 36-year-old would really have to hurry to recover in time for the second leg at the start of May.
