On Tuesday, in his column for CaughtOffside , Arsenal insider Charlie Watts noted that the Gunners will be vying for a winger and it wouldn’t surprise him that Rodrygo is the prime candidate to fill that position.
“A winger should be the priority for me and I think it will be, which is why there is strong interest in the likes of Rodrygo and Nico Williams, ” Watts wrote. “ If Arsenal were going to try and raid Villa for anyone this summer, I think the more likely option would be they return for Ollie Watkins, a player we know they tried to sign just a few months ago .”
As for PSG they have a lot of talent at the wing, but recently, Bradley Barcola is on Bayern Munich’s radar, so it will be interesting to see if the capital club do indeed need a winger before the summer transfer window closes.
