How Man United and Spurs could line up
With both sets of players proving so inconsistent this season, it’s not going to be easy for their managers to pick a best XI.
Experience should probably be a priority for this big occasion, but it’s hard to know for sure right now if the usual big names will get the nod after playing so badly lately.
There are also injuries to contend with, with Spurs in particular just dealt the blow of losing both Dejan Kulusevski and Pape Sarr.
For United, Joshua Zirkzee is a long-term absentee, while Diogo Dalot and Matthijs de Ligt are also likely to be out, though there’s some hope Leny Yoro should make it back.
Man United predicted line up: Onana; Yoro, Maguire, Heaven; Mazraoui, Shaw, Ugarte, Casemiro, Fernandes, Diallo, Hojlund.
Tottenham predicted line up: Vicario; Spence, Porro, Romero, Van de Ven; Bissouma, Bentancur; Johnson, Tel, Son; Solanke.
