Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche has made it clear the club has no intention of selling Ékitiké unless their valuation is met , despite growing interest from several Premier League teams.
Ékitiké, who joined Frankfurt from Paris Saint-Germain just last summer, impressed in his first season in Germany, scoring 22 goals and adding 12 assists. The 22-year-old is under contract until 2029, and Frankfurt are believed to value him at around £85 million.
“If the price isn’t right, then he’ll simply stay with us,” Krösche told Wiesbadener Kurier (h/t The Mirror ). “We don’t have to sell Ékitiké.”
This week, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Manchester United have officially entered the race for Ékitiké, making contact with Eintracht Frankfurt.
They’ve expressed strong interest and gathered all the key details around a possible deal. Liverpool and Chelsea are still in the mix, but now United are firmly in the conversation. Frankfurt’s asking price stands at €100 million.
