Foot Mercato reported on Monday that Cherki won’t be joining PSG, as the club has no plans to target the Lyon midfielder. There’s no contact between the parties at the moment, and none is expected in the near future .
On Monday, RMC Sport’s Florent Gautreau advised the Frenchman to make the move to the French capital for one key reason.
“Cherki to PSG, I’m ready to believe it,” Gautreau said. “He needs to be guided, and with Luis Enrique, he could fit into a team game where he has to defend and do more than just shine for a few minutes per match.”
